Castle’s Barbeque Delhi – Sumptuous Food & Great Hospitality

If you are a foodie like me and looking for a fine dine option in Delhi, you will love the sumptuous buffet lunch/dinner at the Castle’s Barbeque. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of Pacific Mall near to PVR cinema. We came across this hidden gem while searching for a table in the food court of the mall on a crowded Sunday evening. As we craned our necks above the food court restaurants, it wasn’t hard to locate the name ‘Castle’s Barbeque’. It appeared to be a peaceful place away from the crowded food court. So we decided to try that little corner restaurant.

As we entered the restaurant, we were surprisingly pleased with the ambience of the place. The dim lights and the architecture reminded me of some old castle I may have imagined after reading a fantasy novel. We were informed that the restaurant only serves buffet with unlimited snacks, main course and sweets. We opted for the non-vegetarian menu. We were attended by four staff members who immediately turned our table into a barbeque and placed multiple skewers on the grill. The barbeque snacks included chicken tikka, chicken tandoori, mutton tikka, fish tikka and prawns. Other snacks included fish in sweet chilli sauce, chicken and mutton seekh kebabs, paneer tikka, honey chilli potato and dahi papdi.

There were a variety of vegetarian skewers and snacks as well that we did not opt for. We were more interested in their non-vegetarian cuisine. They also offered a variety of sauces and extra butter to cater to your taste buds. You can ask for as many skewers and snacks as you want. They will always refill your plate with a heart-warming smile.

Their main course included an extensive variety of salads as well as vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. Food tasted great just as we love it – not too spicy and neither too bland. It was a perfect balance of spices, aroma and taste. You can select from a variety of Indian breads – roti, naan, parantha etc. and it is freshly made as you order it. There is also a Maggi counter where you can order the instant Maggi noodles. We were too stuffed with our snacks and food to taste their Maggi. So, I can’t tell you how it tasted. When it comes to the dessert, I’m never too full to eat it, as the saying goes ‘Dessert doesn’t go to the stomach, it goes to the heart.’ 😉 Castle’s Barbeque offers a great variety of tempting desserts. The variety ranges from their assorted ice creams to Swiss rolls, hot chocolate brownies and pastries to the Indian sweets – gulab Jamun, rasgulla and moong dal halwa. You can eat all of these desserts to your fill your heart.

Their meal is not complete yet. After you make payment and head to the exit door, you’ll find two trays of mouth-fresheners with 14 varieties of fresheners and you can try as many as you want.

Castle’s Barbeque does not serve liquor. The price per person is 600 INR plus taxes for vegetarian buffet and 700 INR plus taxes for the non-vegetarian buffet. The operating hours are from 12 Noon to 5 PM, and from 6:30 PM to 11 PM. You can either opt for their buffet lunch or buffet dinner.

Bonus Tip: There are many websites that offer discounted coupons for Barbeque Castle. If you are booking a movie ticket on Book My Show, look for the free coupons they offer for this restaurant.

P.S. This is not a sponsored post. I visited the restaurant recently and paid for my food. All the views are based on my own experience with Castle’s Barbeque.
